The subconscious mind is very powerful; it literally shapes our day to day life. If we envision a negative outcome, the subconscious mind will take this message literally and seek out the path to achieve the negative result.

- Look for the positive side in negative situations
- Smile often, this will help you think positive thoughts. With a positive attitude we experience pleasant and happy feelings.
- Shut out negative self talk! Instead, use positive words in your self talk and when talking with others. If negative thought enters your mind, you must be aware of it, and immediately replace it with a positive thought. If the negative thought returns, replace it again.
