Spring is typically a great time to clean out the old and make room for the new. This can be attributed to traditional spring-cleaning, however, more importantly we need to apply it to letting go of old resentments, hurts and anger. Negative emotions tend to hold us back from enjoying the inner peace and happiness we want and truly deserve in our lives. When we hold on to and keep rehashing old wounds, we remain stuck and cannot bring significant change to our lives. However, when we choose to free ourselves from the old, we open new doors to endless possibilities. Some negative emotions are harder to let go than others, take the first step by giving yourself permission to let it go and choosing to forgive those who have wronged you.
